Duolingo is a fantastic app that uses gamification and a reward system to teach you foreign languages. This is a great resource for travelers that are traveling to virtually any part of the world.
When you first join the app you will be prompted to sign up using an email and password or by connecting with your Facebook Account making the sign-up process seamless and easy.
Once you have joined Duolingo you will then be prompted to choose what language it is you’d like to learn and then determine how intense you want to be. This offers you 5 min, 10 min, 15 min, etc… timed lessons in which you are prompted with basic questions and visuals that you must fill in the blank by either typing the answer or by choosing multiple choice. You must answer all the questions correctly before moving on but don’t worry it will help you along the way!
Once you have completed your lessons for the day you are then rewarded with points and a badge system which is perfect for those that like to see progress when learning new things.
